"We stopped at Selous Kulinder Camp as part of safari for our honeymoon. Selous kulinder camp is absolutely fantastic..it is evident that every single member of staff at the camp takes pride in ensuring the camp is up to standards! Upon arrival we were greeted with big smiles, shown around the camp facilities and then our luxury tent and WOW, what an absolute delight the tent was! The tent was equipped with everything we required and more! The bedroom was cleaned daily (a few times a day). The food at the camp is the best food we have tasted abroad! The staff were more than accommodating for my dietary requirement and provided us with wholesome food that we will never forget! The staff at this camp were so warm, kind and helpful, Hamisi looked after us during our trip and what a man he is! Very kind, attentive and made sure we were okay and happy with everything throughout our time there! We also met the camp manager Lydia who was absolutely lovely and again checked in with us to make sure we were happy with everything! The staff at this camp really are special people!"

“The lodges are clean, well equipped and comfortable. The food is first-rate, and the staff are all excellent – friendly and helpful.
You are collected from the Mtemere Airstrip after flying in from Dar es Salaam with Coastal Aviation, and it’s about a 20-minute journey by jeep to the camp, passing through the bush and a village where the locals all wave as you pass through. Whenever you go into the game reserve on safari, the driver/guide checks you in at the Mtemere Gate, which took just a few minutes.
Steven, our driver/guide, was incredibly knowledgeable about the flora and fauna, showed us a great deal of both animals and birds and generally looked after us superbly on the full-day safaris, an early morning walking safari and a boat safari on the Rufiji River which sets off right outside the camp. On the walking safari, we were also accompanied by Michael, a trainee guide and Afumi the ranger who carried a rifle but never needed to use it.
Our ‘tent’ which was under the cover of a typical Tanzanian building had a plunge pool for which we were very grateful after a long day’s sightseeing. Each night after dinner, we were escorted back by a Maasi, armed with their long stick and a knife – not that there is any real danger, but there are monitor lizards, bush babies, baboons, banded mongoose and Colobus monkeys around the camp, none of which were a problem to us.”

“We stayed at Kulinda Camp as part of our honeymoon to Tanzania, a 4 night safari & 5 night beach holiday. Our stay at Kulinda Camp was the best part of our honeymoon, everything was perfect!
On our first day we were greeted by the hotel manager, Salum and our waiter, Sultan. Both Salum & Sultan were so friendly and made us feel very welcome, their friendlyness and excellent customer service continued throughout the whole of our stay. Sultan was so thoughtful and always made sure we were ok, anything that we asked for her went to get for us and was always available. The chef, Cherrles was absolutely fantastic, the food at every meal time was so delicious. I am gluten intolerant and he was excellent and making sure I always had something just as nice as my husband, probably the best food we’ve ever had! I always had fresh gluten free pancakes and fresh fruit every morning, which was gorgeous!
Our room was beautiful, a very cool lodge, with canvas sides and a solid ground floor and our own bathroom which was clean at all times. We booked the luxury lodge, which we were told had a private plundge pool, but it was so much more than that, more like a mini infinity pool that over looked the views of the bush. The staff at the hotel always made sure our pool was clean for when we returned from our safari tours.”
